Made in Denmark

A danfloor carpet carries the assurance of being “Made in Denmark”.

We ensure that every step in the process is checked.

We select, test and purchase yarns for the tufting and weaving process. The carpet manufacturing process takes place in our Kibæk factory near Herning. Here, quality and environmental control systems have been linked to ensure the very best outcome.

When the carpet is due for delivery to your end customer, we are in full control of logistics. That way, we minimise the risk of errors and at the same time ensure short transit times with the lowest possible CO2 emissions.

Quality yarns

In our yarn processing department, we produce the yarns that are incorporated in your new carpet. The most common yarns for a durable carpet are wool, polyamide and polypropylene.

We never compromise when choosing subcontractors or yarn types. High quality and safety are the hallmarks of the process, from the selection of raw materials through inspection of production flows, right up to the finished product.

A danfloor carpet solution is one that uses the best yarns – their unique performance helps ensure that your carpet is attractive, durable and easy to clean and maintain

4 focus points

It is part of our DNA to ensure that we deliver safe, responsible and environmentally-friendly solutions to everyday problems.

When you choose a danfloor carpet, you are guaranteed a product that focuses on:

Acoustics and noise

Acoustics and noise

There is no avoiding noise– whether at home, at work, in traffic or out in nature. Increasingly, noise is a cause of stress and absence from work.

danfloor’s textile floor solutions help reduce noise, be it the footsteps of passers-by or reverberations from other rooms.

Comfort and warmth

Textiles impart a generally cosy and convivial atmosphere and a comfy feeling, whether in the workplace, hotel, in public spaces or in the home.

danfloor’s fibre floor solutions provide a cushioned surface, insulate a cold floor, help raise the temperature in the room (compared with a hard floor) and are slip-resistant (fewer falls).

Environmentally friendly materials

Environmentally friendly materials

The process of assuring low-environmental-impact materials and solutions is an ongoing one. Our product developers keep abreast of market trends and enquire about the latest yarns, as well as new opportunities and possibilities.

danfloor’s fibre floor solutions are made using the best materials. We are in constant dialogue with our suppliers and select only the best partners – many are market leaders within their field and within the circular economy.

Quality and safety

Quality must be the best. Before your carpet leaves our factory, it will have been inspected at least six times over its journey from yarn to finished carpet. This way, your customer and you will be sure of the finished item.

danfloor is known for supplying quality carpets and flooring solutions around the world. Our textile floors are certified in various countries; all have attained the GUT label as well as Eurofins Gold (Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification).
